Hockey Goblin Shipping Policy

At Hockey Goblin, we are committed to getting your gear to you safely and legally. Because our wax paste contains mineral spirits for maximum performance, it is classified as a flammable solid/liquid for transport. To comply with federal safety regulations and USPS policies, all orders are shipped according to the guidelines below.

 

Shipping Methods & Rates

• Flat Rate Shipping: We offer a flat rate of $8.00 for all domestic orders.

• Carrier: All orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage.

• Surface Transportation Only: Due to the mineral spirit content (Hazmat Class 3), this product is restricted to ground transport only. It is prohibited from air travel, meaning we cannot offer Priority Mail, Express, or Overnight shipping.

Delivery Estimates

• Processing Time: Most orders are processed and packed within 1–2 business days.

• Transit Time: Once shipped via USPS Ground Advantage, orders typically arrive within 2–5 business days. Please note that ground transit may occasionally take longer than air-based methods depending on your distance from our Michigan facility.

Shipping Restrictions

• Contiguous USA Only: We currently only ship to the 48 contiguous United States.

• No Air-Only Destinations: Due to federal law regarding hazardous materials, we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or overseas APO/FPO/DPO addresses, as these locations require air transportation.

• P.O. Boxes: We can ship to domestic P.O. Boxes via USPS Ground Advantage, provided the destination is within the contiguous U.S.

 

Hazmat Safety & Packaging

We take great care in packaging your order to ensure it arrives in perfect condition:

• Secure Sealing: Our bottles are specifically chosen for chemical compatibility and are double-sealed to prevent leaking during transit.

• Required Labeling: In accordance with USPS Publication 52, your package will be marked as "Surface Mail Only" and will include the required Limited Quantity diamond label.

 

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been picked up by USPS, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking status to update on the USPS website.

 

Damaged Shipments

If your bottle arrives damaged or leaking, please handle the package with care. Take a photo of the damage and contact us at hockeygoblin32@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you to file a claim and send a replacement immediately.
