As a passionate fan and avid player of hockey, founder Randy encountered complications with ice saturation on the blade of his hockey stick. Frustrated with ice saturation during 2-hour stick and pucks, rat hockey, and rec league games, Randy had a creative breakthrough while playing with his former team, the Chicago Stars, at the Original Six league in Franklin Park, Il. Dressed in the team's vibrant green jerseys, he came up with the idea for Grem the Hockey Goblin, a humorous mascot for his new product. Though Grem's magical nasal snot is purely a joke, the high-performance Goblin Snot formula IS NOT.
